Thesis Concept: Module 7

Image
This module I revised my logo more and created the branding one-sheeter for my project's brand: 210 Confección. After, I created the homepage of what I think the website should look like. It's a draft, but I realized that I needed more specific content to show and work on things like copy and what the brand's tagline would be. What I have on the website is a placeholder. With the website, I want more personality of the brand, even if it's subtle. I plan to do more research on what I envision the website to look like over the next week.

Thesis Concept: Module 6

Unfortunately I got sick this week, so I'm behind on my project. I'm hoping to catch up this week and make progress. I was able to do the User Testing with my Focus Group and my site map ended up changing quite a bit to make a more simplified website. With the user testing, I realized there is a need for "deals" and a push on product details (ingredients, source, etc.). I also found out how getting new account sign up should be a pop-up that appears early on in the user's experience. With my logo, I decided to experiment more and not just focus on one logo. Instead I made 2 other logos and refined the logo from last week. I think I like the newer logos more, but I still need to experiment with their one-sheeter and homepage look to see how things look.

I went about making the user flow by showing the options the persona, Stephanie, had but I showed her journey through arrows to show how she bought the CBD chocolate. I tried to make it simple, but I think I should also consider how she would go about trying other products in the future.  I also got further in my logo, focusing on one of the sketches from Module 4. I think it's coming along, and I'm realizing that perhaps a detailed logo doesn't need too much color on it; perhaps max 2. I'm still a little unsure about the color palette because I'm trying to find colors that aren't too loud and childish; yet I would like to incorporate the marijuana color; even if it's not the exact shade of green.

Thesis Concept 1: :Module 4

With the user flow, I tried to figure out what my page would have available. I referenced the User Journey Map to see if what the user would run into make sense. I realized that I need to hone in on the products page and figure out the details on the website; even if there aren't any product packaging yet.  Speaking of product, when revising my logos from last week, I realized that I may need to come up with a product name and possibly a logo for that as well. 210 Confeccion is just the brand, which sells CBD products in San Antonio, but I don't know yet what their CBD edibles line are called. Because of this, I decided to go with a "Simplified Detail" look on the 210 Confeccion logo; so not to detract from the product's label.
