Thesis Concept: Module 11

This module I created the app for 210 Confeccion and did the user testing which I discovered a few things: • Creating a subscription incentive like a special coupon for first-time subscribers. • Make a more obvious subscription cancelation available for customers. • Make a messaging inbox for customers. • Create rewards points page for users to calculate points & cash-in points. Upon creating the app, I also realized that I want the website to showcase products and events of the business, but lead to downloading the app to have an optimal purchasing experience. Here is the link of the app:  https://xd.adobe.com/view/d17aca2f-63b7-4272-49cb-983d5c19d9ea-a74b/?fullscreen&hints=off I also created some "postcards" which took a more mystical approach to the branding, but created more visuals to incorporate in future branding elements.

Thesis Concept: Module 10

This week I updated my thesis project website, DS Chart, and Materials Matrix. I fixed the wireframes and I prototyped them on Adobe XD for my focus group to use and navigate through. Here is the link for Case #1, which are new buyers: New buyers Here is the link for Case #2, which are for recurring buyers doing a subscription: Subscription I also added more graphic elements on the one-sheeter and refined the "headline" type by finding a different slab serif font. I worked on the desktop website a bit, but I want to take a break on it for now till I get more info on the mobile page from the focus group. Next week, I do want to look into other possible prototype apps like Invision or Form to see if they are more intuitive than Adobe XD.

This module I updated my logo more to appeal to scaling and I adjusted the diamond/leaves on it to seem more like the marijuana leaf. I also updated some of the graphic elements. Upon updating the branding visuals, I'm starting to think I might need to simplify the color palette to have more contrast and elegance; this is something I will explore this in the next week. I've also have been working on a tagline for the brand, which will hopefully will be finalized soon. I did more font explorations for the headlines, displayed in the desktop website. If neither of the Serif fonts work, I might just use Gotham instead. For my website deliverable, I am also making the mobile version of it too. I originally wanted it to be an app, but I'm not sure if that is plausible at this point or how to make it different than the desktop. The desktop websites shown are to figure out possible layouts. I did the wireframes for the mobile website because most of my TA would use their ph...

Thesis Concept : Module 8

This module I created a couple of Task Flows; one for new buyer and one for recurring. I also designed a few more homepage layouts, updated the logo/one-sheet, and created some branded assets like the letterhead and businesscard.  Creating the user flow helped me figure out the basis of creating the home page layouts. The task flow, I thought, was going to be the same as the first-level architecture, but was more different than I thought. Both prior charts focused on the persona "Stephanie" who was a new buyer. However, with doing "case 2" of the Task Flow made me think about the ways recurring visitors would purchase the edibles.
