1.7: TFIs

TFIs
1)  Procrastinators and Internet Memes
Fact: Internet and meme culture are encouraging procrastination amongst university students.
Problem: Students are becoming stressed; not getting their work one on time.
Goal: I will use graphic design to help students focus on their studies/work.

2) Comedy as medicine for Anxiety
Fact: Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses in the United States.
Problem: Sufferers have a hard time seeing the joy of life when they are filled with anxiety and the stigmas related to it.
Goal: Through graphic design, I will create materials which show the light-hearted side of coping with anxiety and using laughter to relieve it.

3) Affordable Cruetly-free products
Fact: There are not enough affordable cruelty-free skin care products that are available to purchase in stores.
Problem: Cruelty-free purchases will decline due to more affordable options that test on animals.
Goal: I will use graphic design to create options for people to purchase skin care products that are cruelty free.

4) Benefits of Art
Fact: Artistic expression (music, dance, painting, drawing, design, etc.) has been known to be beneficial for people to relieve stress, learn critical thinking skills, and improve visual-spatial abilities.
Problem: Art programs are low funded in schools, causing students to not have any of the benefits art provides.
Goal: With graphic design, I plan to create materials to raise awareness to provide more funding for student art programs.

5) CBD Saturation
Fact: CBD stores are increasing in San Antonio, TX.
Problem: There is an abundance of CBD stores and products to choose from that it gets overwhelming for consumers to figure out where to shop.
Goal: Through graphic design, I plan to design a way to help shoppers conveniently navigate local CBD products and stores to narrow down their search.
